Formed in 1986 by a group of friends who regularly met to enjoy each other’s company and to share their hobby of classic cars. Traditionally managed by an annually elected committee, our club has flourished and can now boast having over 150 members. Enjoying the original concept, we still meet regularly on the third Thursday of every month in the function room of a local licensed venue, where club nights are an informal social affair giving time for a chat and a drink, with occasional quizzes, relevant talks or film shows, the odd auction or a prize from our monthly Club raffle, an enjoyable evening is assured for all.

We attend local shows and at many we have our own club stand. Whilst owning a classic vehicle is not a pre-requisite to club membership, vehicles displayed on a club stand or show line up, with exceptions, must be a minimum of 30 years old, and in a good road legal condition without any obvious modifications. Club members vehicles also benefit from our own public liability insurance when on an official Club stand, meeting the high safety criteria demanded for many shows nowadays.

Our high quality bi-monthly magazine, posted to our members, lists events that are available to attend and is full of information relevant to our hobby. This includes articles, letters and photos sent in by our members, who are actively encouraged to send to the editor anything that may be of interest. An events folder is also available to browse at club nights, to help you decide which shows to attend.
